WinEpoc is a powerful Windows-like desktop for Symbian/Epoc equipped pocket computers. It provides you with a familiar workplace allowing an intuitive control without losing any advantage of powerful Epoc operating system. The current version of WinEpoc is 3.5.

WinEpoc is not only a desktop enhancement, it brings many new features and functions for your pocket computer. All its possibilities make using of your handheld device much more easier and comfortable.

You can work with WinEpoc intuitively and easily. You can use both a touch screen and a keyboard. WinEpoc supports many familiar shortcuts so you get used to handle WinEpoc in a short time.

With WinEpoc, you can organise your documents, links to various objects, menus, notes on desktop, hotkeys... WinEpoc also provides you with easy to use functions for switching between running tasks and getting important information about machine status. Furthermore, there is a number of additional advanced functions that you will find useful.

Additionally, WinEpoc provides you with a wide range of possibilites how to personalise it - e.g. creating multiple desktops, setting automatically changing wallpapers, choosing appearance of bottom StartBar and much more.

Main features:

• WinEpoc is very easy to use. Its workplace is familiar to most users and it provides intuitive functions.
• WinEpoc's graphics user interface is considerably more beautiful than the default Epoc interface. It shows you the real posibilities of your pocket computer.
• You can create links to documents, applications, web pages and folders. Furthermore, you can create links that can launch more documents and/or applications at once. Links can be organised on desktops or in menus.
• Menus can be created not only in already existing menus, but also on desktop directly.
• WinEpoc provides you with an unique system of "sticky" notes that you can place on desktop. You can work with notes quickly and easily.
• You are not limited by only one desktop. If one desktop is not enough for you, you can create up to 20 desktops. You can work with multiple desktops effortlessly with easy to access Desktop menu.
• Fully-featured file explorer allows you to work with files and folders similarly as on your PC. You are allowed to open and work with up to four Explorer windows simultaneously.
• WinEpoc allows you to create your own hotkeys (shortcuts) for direct and fact access to applications and documents.
• WinEpoc gives you all necessary information about machine status. You can find out status of batteries (including a graph view) or free space on disk with a glance.
• You can switch between running tasks (open documents and applications) easily using a global shortcut.
• There is also a full list of open files provided by WinEpoc, similar to that System's one, but allowing more functions.
• WinEpoc provides you with a special menu for working with documents. Besides place for your links to documents and list of recent documents, you are also allowed to quickly create new documents of most frequently used applications. You can access this menu from everywhere.
• You can access some applications' functions more easily with WinEpoc - i.e. creating new day entries, contacts, e-mails or SMS messages, searching facilities...
• There are several ways how you can use WinEpoc's functions from everywhere. WinEpoc provides you with several useful global shortcuts (for displaying menus, creating notes...) Moreover, you can switch to WinEpoc easily using "silk" System icon on display.
• You can personalise WinEpoc according to your wish - you can set not only a wallpaper, but also an appearance of bottom StartBar.
• There is a wide range of settings provided by WinEpoc. You are not limited by program's default behaviuor, you can adjust most WinEpoc's features.
• If you are using a slower machine, you can apply "fast mode" for better results.

Current version of WinEpoc runs on whole range of Epoc Release 3 - Release 5 equipped computers. You can choose between several language versions during the installation process.

WinEpoc is distributed as shareware, i.e. you can download and test the software, but if you decide to continue using it, you have to register it.

You do not need to download some special version after registering, you will only input the registration code into WinEpoc, which will unlock it and enable all WinEpoc's functions.

There are some limitations in an unregistered version of WinEpoc which will disappear when you register it. If you register once, you will obtain the right to get free registration codes for new versions of WinEpoc for two years starting on the day of registering. You will also support my effort to develop future versions of WinEpoc and other software for Symbian/Epoc platform.

Needed details

The unique registration code is generated according to provided user's name and his/her pocket computer's identification number (id). Therefore you must provide me also with the machine unique id so I am able to generate the code for you. You can get the machine id information e.g. from WinEpoc's registration dialogue or from Shell (System) -> Information menu -> Machine.

Price of a licence

Price of a registration code for WinEpoc is 24 EUR regardless to payment method. (Price in USD is $28, but it is subject of change considering fluctuating exchange rate.) Customers who reside in a member state of the EU have to pay additional VAT (value-added tax) when paying on-line.

Payment methods

There are three ways how you can realise payment for WinEpoc:

1) Secure on-line credit card or PayPal transaction

If you cannot register on-line, you can send me a cheque (check) for 24 EUR or 28 USD. No eurocheques please!

3) Sending money

As soon as I receive your payment, I will send you your unique registration code for WinEpoc.
