jsBattery is the professional battery manager for Psion Series 5/5mx/5mx Pro and Ericsson MC218 pocket computers. The current version is 1.5.

Besides common battery monitoring facilities (including a graph view), it provides a number of advanced functions for getting better information on batteries and better battery management.

Main features:

• jsBattery monitors status of main batteries and provides you with well-arranged information about them.
• Shows estimation of remaining time on batteries.
• The upper bar is shown anytime you access jsBattery and it displays the basic information about battery status.
• The Graph view shows graph of the current batteries. You can easily see the fluctuation of main batteries level from the graph as well as total battery used at each moment.
• Unlike Shell, jsBattery remembers all previously used batteries which were managed by it.
• jsBattery provides you with few statistics so you can compare the batteries easily. The statistics are accessible in this view.
• Battery warnings can let you know when the capacity of main batteries is getting low. jsBattery allows you to set three different levels of warnings.
• jsBattery provides you with some advanced functions to take care about the batteries and therefore allows you to reach higher time on batteries. These settings covers turning backlight, remote link and sound off when a given main batteries level is reached. Moreover, jsBattery can close documents running from Compact Flash when the given main batteries level is reached. This prevents data loss when batteries are too low.
• You can access jsBattery easily using its shortcut Ctrl+Fn+B.
• It allows to keep consistency and preserve information about batteries after removing them temporarily or performing hard reset, whereas Shell may display wrong and incomplete values after removing batteries temporarily.
• jsBattery provides you with some functions to print the information about batteries and graphs.
• You can export records from previously used batteries database to a text file.
• You are allowed to save the graph of current main batteries as a bitmap file.
• Predefined batteries' database includes information about some types of batteries. These information are used when inserting new batteries and when calculating an estimation of remaining time on batteries.

jsBattery is distributed as shareware, i.e. you can download and test the software, but if you decide to continue using it, you have to register it.

You do not need to download some special version after registering, you will only input the registration code into jsBattery, which will unlock it and enable all jsBattery's functions.

There are some limitations in an unregistered version of jsBattery which will disappear when you register it. If you register once, you will be given the right ti get free registration codes for all new versions of jsBattery. You will also support my effort to develop future versions of jsBattery and other software for Symbian/Epoc platform.

Needed details

The unique registration code is generated according to provided user's name and his/her pocket computer's identification number (id). Therefore you must provide me also with the machine unique id so I am able to generate the code for you. You can get the machine id information e.g. from jsBattery's registration dialogue or from Shell (System) -> Information menu -> Machine.

Price of a licence

Price of a registration code for jsBattery is 17 EUR regardless to payment method. (Price in USD is $20, but it is subject of change considering fluctuating exchange rate.) Customers who reside in a member state of the EU have to pay additional VAT (value-added tax) when paying on-line.

There are three ways how you can realise payment for jsBattery:
